Our GLASGOW AND EDINBURGH based PUBLIC SECTOR client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PROCUREMENT PROJECT EVENT MANAGER to lead the delivery of an annual procurement event for the central government sector. This requires the use of project management methodology to ensure development and presentation of content, facilitating workshops and supporting the activities as required to deliver a successful event.

Procurement Best Practice Leadership - Requires a broad understanding with experience of application across the procurement competency framework. Competent in leading, project planning and implementing end-to-end procurement process for projects above EU thresholds. Sound decision making and capable of making recommendations on best practice for the delivery of effective procurement, contract management processes and ensuring ongoing value for money. Ability to listen, understand and work with the stakeholder environment.
