Procurement Officer - SC Cleared

Procurement Officer Contract opportunity working in Abbey Wood, Bristol, for 2 Months initially. We are looking for a Procurement Officer for our Defence sector client.

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: South West: Bristol: Abbey Wood

Duration: 2 month

Security Clearance Level Required: SC - Security Check

Additional Info: Medical Delivery Team - provide medical products to the Armed Forces

- Daily maintenance and updating of financial spreadsheets and reports in support of the Med Inventory Section Leader
- Provide supporting documents and input to monthly 1-2-1 packs
- Monitoring and co-ordination of Inventory processes in support of operations
- Production of slides (including obtaining and verifying data) for various meetings with customers and suppliers Under the direction and guidance of the Inventory Section Leader:
- To obtain and verify data for inclusion in presentations internally as well as to customers and suppliers
- Monitor and maintain various financial documents and use this in the provision of financial reports
- Focal point for the co ordination of various inventory processes in support of operations
- Provide support to Defence Primary Healthcare customers in relation to contracts maintained by the Medical Delivery Team

Essential Experience: Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of programmes (especially excel)

Desirable Experience: Experience in Logistics/supply chain
