Procurement Officer - ICT

The successful candidate will:

- Support the organisation through a programme of transformation by offering procurement advice and expertise to the ICT department
-Manage procurement exercises from beginning to end with technical support provided by the ICT team
-Understand procurement policies and procedures and ensure they are followed within your remit
-Procurement project support for the wider Procurement and Commissioning Team

The ideal candidate should have experience of OJEU tendering exercises and supplier relationship management as well as a robust character, with the ability to ensure others apply best practice to procurement exercises and operate within guidelines.

You will of course aim to make meaningful savings in all your work whilst ensuring quality of goods and services procured.

An in-depth knowledge of ICT is not essential but a familiarity with that area is desirable.
