Procurement Officer - Edinburgh/Glasgow - 3 Months

PROCUREMENT OFFICER with PUBLIC SECTOR PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE required for INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT in EDINBURGH OR GLASGOW.

To be considered, you will have the following experience;

- Requires a broad understanding across the procurement competency framework.
- Competent in leading, project planning and implementing end-to-end procurement process for projects above EU thresholds.
- Supports customers leading and developing complex specifications and invitation to tender documentation for EU competitions.
- Understands when and how to negotiate.
- Capable of effectively sourcing and tendering for a range of commodities and services ensuring delivery of value for money. This includes tender evaluation and processes leading to contract award and debriefing suppliers.
- Supports customers by establishing contract management processes and ensuring ongoing value for money in the delivery of the contract.
- Experience of public procurement

Candidates will be required to either already hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
