Procurement Officer

Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in procurement policies and procedures.

In this role you will be:

- Maintaining the project procurement plan
- Managing procedures for project procurement
- Issuing tenders and RFQ's
- Providing advice to team members and managers on procurement procedures

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in managing open tender processes, tender document development and development of purchasing recommendations
- Demonstrated procurement experience in a NSW Public sector agency
- Strong analytical skills for researching data, analysing alternate scenario and numerical and graphical presentation
- Experience in projects involving knowledge-based goods and services
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

The role is for a short term engagement based in the CBD.
