Procurement Manager- SC Security Cleared-CIPS

Procurement Manager, ideally with current SC Security Clearance and a professional procurement qualification and background (CIPS) is urgently needed to manage the strategic procurement activities, compliance, and best practice and provide value for money sourcing to a noteworthy government regulator. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading on both high and low value procurement in compliance with government and EU Procurement policy.

Procurement Manager- SC Security Cleared-CIPS-Essential Experience

+Excellent track record performing a Procurement Management role demonstrating solid procurement skills and knowledge.
+A professional procurement background with procurement qualifications CIPS or equivalent.
+A good understanding of an experience of applying government procurement methods to sourcing within the legislative framework.
+Strong hands on experience of procurement Practices within government.
+Current SC Security Clearance or the ability to undergo SC Security Clearance.
+Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with good commercial acumen.
+The ability to manage the full procurement process across the organisation, supporting senior executives including publishing and managing supplier response in line with EU procurement regulations and principles.
+The ability to lead in the development of the full procurement document sets including strategies, PQQs, ITTs, contract schedules, internal briefings, eSourcing, eTendering and further guidance.

Procurement Manager- SC Security Cleared-CIPS-Desirable Experience

+Experience of working in the public sector in relation to regulatory bodies.
+Experience in the procurement of common category spend ( Professional Services, CCL, Legal Services or similar)
+Strong track record of achieving of large scale savings.
