Procurement Manager - Leeds

I am looking to hire a Procurement Manager for one of my public sector client in Leeds.

This is a contract role for 6 months with possible extension.

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

- Experienced procurement professional with experience of operating in a complex environment
- Category management and supply chain experience in networks procurement
- Experience in disaggregating a single prime supplier contract into smaller bundles
- Exposure to national scale requirements
- Experience of developing all procurement related documents such as Pre Qualifications Questionnaires, OJEU and PIN notices, Invitations to tender and evaluation models
- Experience of compiling Network tender documentation
- Experience of participating in a Networks procurement from requirements to award
- Experience of assisting Networks subject matter experts through the process from requirements specification and evaluation
- Understanding of the national networks market and supply chain segmentation
- Understanding of Public Procurement Regulations would be highly beneficial
- Experience of providing senior commercial support to high value, complex programmes
- Excellent communication skills - effective at building and managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and suppliers, including at a very senior level
- Good technical awareness of IT products and services
- Experience of analysing complex bids
