Job description Procurement Manager Global:

The Global Commodity Lead (Senior Manager Procurement) manages spend categories from a total cost of ownership perspective by developing sourcing strategies for all categories and by driving the tendering & supplier selection, contracting & implementation, and contract and supplier relationship management for global spend.

- Be responsible for Results Planning & Recognition activities
- Be responsible for the re-negotiation of current contracts to new terms for 2016 and related contract activities (either placement of the new General Relationship Agreement (GRA) or contract amendments
- Be accountable for Supply Market Analysis activities
- Improving cash flow by vendor financing and payment conditions
- Support, manage, and administer existing contracts and ensure that the CPE vendors comply the contractual obligations in terms of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), SLA (Service Level Agreement), warranties and reporting, in coordination
- Focal point for vendor escalations with regards to delivery, performance and support.
- Conduct vendor risk and credit checks (where appropriate) together with Corporate Finance as part of Vendor Management process
- Drafting, negotiating and administrating Statements of Work for professional services with CPE vendors.
- Liaison between corporate suppliers and affiliate procurement teams for issues & escalations.
- Ensure proper contracting for new and updated contracts and proper contract management for current contracts for global spend and support the contract management activities for the local spend.

JOB DEMANDS PROCUREMENT MANAGER GLOBAL:

- Academic background (minimum Bachelor): preferably in business administration
- or finance/procurement
- > 5 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/relevant Business
- Preferably experience working in a (team) leadership/management position
- Preferably experience in an international/multi-country/Matrix environment
- Demonstrable experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with a strong focus on customer service
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Excellent change management skills to drive step improvement in entity's capabilities within a global Matrix structure that is relatively new to the organization
- Relates effectively to people at all levels of the organization and with the Supply base
- Able to liaise effectively with executive vendor management and have contract negotiation
