Procurement Manager

Looking for new role? We are in need of a Procurement Manager to work for a renowned media organisation in Reading. The role is focused on an Agile programme approach that they are adopting so they need candidates with experience in this area.

Essential
*Ideally professionally qualified eg MCIPS (or at final stages of qualification)
*A good practical understanding of procurement including tendering, negotiation and contract management.
*Delivery experience within a broad-based Change Programme
*Evidence of managing at least three similar procurement processes
*Experience of G-Cloud and other Government frameworks
*Good financial awareness and project management skills
*In depth understanding and application of legal issues: EU Public Procurement
Regulations; Contract Law; Fair Trade etc. Substantial relevant experience.
*Good category knowledge, particularly within the ICT or broadcast equipment, marketplace. Substantial relevant experience.
*Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop/maintain relationships, particularly with key stakeholders.
*Good communication skills, both written and oral
*Proven track record of delivery
*Strong team player
