Procurement - MCIPS - OJEU - Stakeholder Management

Our Client, a leading broadcasting company, is looking for an experienced procurement manager to join them on a contract basis. The role is based in London and they are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of a team and with extensive knowledge of managing multiple tenders at any one time.

Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in managing multiple tenders at any one time
Planning and organising internal and external stakeholders
Managing a spend category
Developing a strategy for the procurement and development of a category
Managing the resources involved with the development of a category
Managing the category supplier relationships

Skills:
A background in delivering tenders for large projects will be important, as well as working within central government or similar
The candidate must be a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) The candidate must have experience using Official Journal of the EU (OJEU)
the candidate must have experience and a good, working understanding of European regulations
Stakeholder management is Key for both internal and external as they will be required to manage multiple tenders at any given time
The candidate will require a background in delivering tenders for large projects
