Procurement Generalist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor or Master degree in a Business or Economics discipline
- 3+ years' professional experience in a Procurement or Account Manager role in pharma or fast moving consumer goods area
- Excellent computer skills with MS Excel and the talent to manage large amounts of complex data
- Familiarity with contract clauses coupled with the ability to work in cross-functional team and contributing to team targets
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Acting as single point of contact to suppliers, owning the contract tracker and driving global and local contract gathering activities
- Ensuring business reps are consulted, businesses are involved in contract assessment and prioritisation and legal approach is confirmed and aligned
- Ensure all contracts are uploaded to CLM (Contract Life Cycle Management-Database), if not already as well as finalising comprehensive or prioritised contract list for decision making
- Maintaining overview of all activities within the HR work stream and assigning action to each contract and delegate
- Escalating issues as well as separating local/regional non-TSA contracts and obtaining TSA consent
