Procurement Buyer

Procurement Buyer, Stakeholder Management, Purchasing Processes, Vendor Management, Negotiating Pricing Terms, Strong Communication Skills, Experience using SAP Systems.

My client is looking for a Procurement Buyer who will act as the single point of contact for the purchasing needs of a select set of business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will assist business stakeholders in the purchasing process by performing:
-Ensuring the order is being placed with an appropriate proffered vendor.
-Directing end users to catalogs if appropriate.
-Entering purchase requisitions and ensuring correct information: pricing per contract, terms, correct material codes.
-Attaining multiple quotes and negotiating pricing terms for buys of under £250,000.

The ideal candidate will also be required to:
-Conduct sourcing projects for products and services.
-Assist sourcing managers in overall category management.
-Communicate across functions internally and with vendors on behalf of business stakeholders.

The appropriate candidate will be:
-Accomplished across Microsoft applications.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-A capable user of procurement or enterprise finance systems; (SAP systems experience proffered).
