Procurement Associate (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Support procurement/sourcing activities by ensuring a focus on efficiency, compliance and the quality of customer service
- Responsibility for sourcing of various materials/components as well as maintenance and development of relationships with existing suppliers and act as a point of escalation in case of supply and quality issues
- Maintaining strong information flows back to the Category Management teams in the event of high-value or non-standard requests
- Collaborate on an as-needed basis with relevant business support functions (e.g. Accounts Payable) to drive operational efficiencies and maximum value-add to the business
- Act as key contact for business leaders and R&D teams with a focus on the pre-commercial phase of product life cycle
- Support the Project Managers in sourcing activities, selection of the right suppliers, running RfX projects together with Procurement Operations and Category Management

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Sound working experience in procurement in a similar environment (Project purchasing, as example development projects) or materials administration
- Degree as an Industrial management assistant or comparable
- Additional qualification as a Procurement Specialist (Fachkauffrau/-mann Einkauf & Logistik IHK, Betriebswirt / Eidg. Dipl. Betriebswirtschafter) or comparable 
- Proven experience of SAP R/3 
- Business fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
