Procurement Assistant

Role: Procurement Assistant

We have an urgent requirement for a Procurement Assistant to join a small motivated team within an organisation which is undergoing organisational change and downsizing. You will be required to assist with administrative tasks to support the Senior Procurement Officer and the rest of the team including the compilation of an accurate contract database and representing procurement as part of a sites closure programme. The successful candidate will be self motivated, be able to hit the ground running and pick up on tasks quickly with an excellent work ethic.

Essential Skills include:
* Diligent and organised, with good written and verbal skills
* Able to work well in a small, motivated team and manage a varied workload
* Good investigative skills and able to carry out due diligence exercises as required
* Able to support a business downsizing project from a contract management perspective
* Good all round MS Office skills including compiling a contracts repository
* Able to support a procurement with the administration of tender exercises, assisting in documentation production
