PROCUREMENT ANALYST is needed for a six (6) month plus contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Miami, FL.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position reports to the Materials Manager. This position will work with the strategic procurement team related to all commodities to support the team as follows. The incumbent will be expected to follow standard practices and procedures.
- The person selected will prepare quotation packages, perform and assist in selecting a preferred supplier in support of new product introduction support as well as production. This position will also assist in procuring first article purchases needed to support instrument manufacturing from BCI approved sources and updating the first article tracking report to notify incoming inspection of future receipts.
- This person will ensure approved supplier part database is maintain in Oracle based on first article approvals.
- Resolves invoicing and accounting issues as they arise. Notifies suppliers of change order revisions and deviations to ensure they are producing to the most up to date drawings and document receipt by the supplier.
- This person will request documentation from suppliers in accordance with our supplier approval process including conflict minerals, new supplier forms, business continuity plans, and other information as needed.
- This person will also ensure that the supplier documentation collected is saved in the proper locations per outlined work instructions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Prefer Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- Prefer one to three (1 - 3) years of Scheduling, Master Planning and Purchasing experience
- Oracle Experience Preferred
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, judgment, and problem solving ability
- Excellent verbal communications/interpersonal skills
- Experience working with suppliers on a daily basis
- Previous experience as a buyer or planner preferred with documentation control experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, complete multiple tasks, and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
