PROCESS ENGINEER - HARTLEPOOL

My Client, based inHartlepool, is looking for an experienced Process Engineer.

Overview of post:

Looking for a Systems Engineer with experience with medium to heavy industry who is used to working within a work environment which heavily relies heavily open semi-automated processes.

It would be ideal if you possess PLC Programming and/or Production Experience.

Dual Electrical and Mechanical background preferred with experience of working with programmable drive systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.

This is a very practical and hands on role which also demands an ability to collate and analyse data.

The role demands that you are able to work on projects from concept with all interested parties and engineer through to fruition ensuring the project remains practical, functional and scalable.

Previous experience within the Paper, Motor, Recycling or any heavy industry utilising large rotating machines would be highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide in-depth technical support, including extensive program investigations and modifications. This requires extensive experience in programming intelligent drives, PLC's and PC's.
- Manage capital investment projects on time and in budget.
- Clearly communicate process and plant status to other team members and shifts.
- Support and process engineering changes for plant capability, maintenance and improvement where required.
- Develop and undertake Production Engineering (SMED, 5s and similar) for all equipment and machines.
- Single Minute Exchange of Dyes - optimising change over process

QUALIFICATION

Applicants should posses a good general standard of education in addition to a Degree, HND or HNC Electronic qualification, though demonstrable ability is the actual requirement.
