Process Engineer

FOR OUR CLIENT IN THE R&D INDUSTRY WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROCESS ENGINEER

START: April 2017

The department, as part of the R&D organization, is responsible for development of printing (imaging) processes and consumable materials (inks, toners, print heads) to be applied in innovative prints systems. Within of these departments we're currently looking for a Process Engineer (print head) who has affinity with complex problem analyses. For a new released printer a new print head is developed and introduced in the (pilot) production process. Manufacturing is scaling up these new processes, during which design-related problems are found.

Goal is to analyze product failures, in cooperation with other functions/departments, such as manufacturing and the analysis department. Failure causes have to be translated to improved products or processes. Design improvements have to be verified by organizing tests in cooperation with designers (multidisciplinary). After verification, these modifications must be engineered towards engineering prototype. During industrialization of these products and processes, support must be delivered to the manufacturing organization. The process engineer will be working in a multi disciplinary team in close cooperation with both R&D colleagues and Production Engineers. To be successful, candidate is highly analytical, flexible and able to anticipate to a highly changing environment and can work as a team member in an autonomous way.

SKILLS:

- Candidate has a BSc in Chemical- or Process Technology
- Min 5 years of work experience in a high-tech industry (no bulk chemistry)
- Knowledge of and experience with working in a clean room environment and/or experience with micro positioning (gluing) is preferred as well as knowledge of analytical tools.
- Candidate has profound knowledge - verbal and written - of English.
