Introduction:
Part of our Research & Development organization, the Materials Device Technology Development Center (MDTD) assures the development of competitive products by realizing the involved print (imaging) processes with the right print quality, reliability, time to market and cost structure. MDTD is also responsible for development and engineering of strategic consumables (eg ink) and modules, essential elements in our printing process. This includes design and realization of the process technology.

Project: New inkjet printhead development

Position's main tasks:
- Functional description, selection and validation of materials for glueing and encapsulation of parts, including the interfaces with the parts.
- Engineering of gluing and encapsulation processes, tooling and validation methods.
- Industrialization of glueing and encapsulation processes, tooling and validation methods.
- Observations and results need to be discussed and reported.

Required area of education:
Bachelor degree process engineering/materials science

Behavioral skills:
- able to work in a multidisciplinary project environment
- detailed
- critical towards results and conclusions
