Role - Process Engineer
Location - Ireland
Type - initially 12 month contract
One of our key Pharmaceutical clients has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to support peak work load and work within the Process Development group. The site supplies commercial APIs and drug products (tablets) worldwide and is a key site for the development of late stage clinical API and drug products.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate on cross-functional teams responsible for the introduction, development, scale-up and launch of new products in our API facility.
* Work on exciting, dynamic and challenging multiple new drug product projects
* Projects will include: new drug products processes are developed, scaled up and optimised using cutting edge manufacturing technology to provide product for clinical trials and commercial supply.
Requirements
* Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
* Strong process development experience the introduction, development, scale-up and launch of new products
* Good technical and practical expertise of API processing
* Problem-solving, interpersonal & communication skills
* Project management skills in a lean manufacturing environment are of high value.
