Process Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Lead Process engineer to work at a food/beverage facility, as such the role requires an intermediate level of experience in the food and beverage industry.

Pharmaceutical industry experience would also be relevant.

Requirements:

- BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of process deliverables: p&id's, pfd's

Key Tasks:

- Supervise and provide technical direction during project planning, feasibility studies, technology evaluations, equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analyses, and proposals for integrating machinery and equipment into the processing facilities.
- Involved in commissioning of new process equipment to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
- Develop documents and utilise information using word processing, spreadsheet, and data base computer programs.Develop models to improve understanding of current processes and the feasibility of new applications.
- Involved in the improvement and troubleshooting on process plants. Evaluate existing processes for the purpose of improvement and refinement.

Knowledge of Hysys would be desirable.
