Process Development Engineer

I have a urgent position that needs to be filled ASAP. This is a great opportunity to get a lot of experience with a well established medical device company. This is a position with someone that has 1-3 years experience in the medical device field. Location: Irvine Pay Rate: $30-35/hour 8 Month Contract Description: Ability to initiates development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR's) and ISO 13485, for medical devices. Promotes Quality Systems methodology and activities in partnership with key technical groups to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. * Provide support to the company continuous improvement programs. Implement new quality system techniques, as required, to meet the company needs and to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of Quality / Quality Engineering. * Provide technical support to Manufacturing department for process improvements for manufacturability (tooling, equipment, etc?), as required. * Supplier Quality: Assist in supplier quality issues to determine root-cause of the problem. Work with manufacturing and engineering to develop and appropriate solution to the issue. * Ability to write Technical Documents such as, Validation Protocols, Test Procedures, and Test Reports in a concise and clean manner. * Other responsibilities as defined by the Quality Manager.
