Process and Control Verification Lead

Our client is currently seeking an experienced individual to support the business through the development and delivery of a Thematic Review Audit programme as well as leading a team of analysts who will undertake the review.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Carrying out data verification to ensure that data complies with the requirements surrounding SCVs (Single Customer Views) and assessing whether the processes surrounding this are appropriate.
* Take control of the thematic review audit assignments; planning and allocating resources, liaising with the relevant colleagues and external bodies regarding regulatory and technical issues.
* Delivery and on-going development of the Thematic Review Audit programme.
* Oversee and provide quality control for Thematic Review Audits.
* Take accountability for the training and development of staff.
* Production of regular progress reports for regulatory bodies as well as senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have the following background:

* Experience of IT audits plus relevant IT control frameworks and standards (e.g. CoBIT, ISO19011 etc.)
* Experience of building and managing systems and process audit teams
* Competent in the identification and mitigation of process risk and well as the associated frameworks.
* Effective leadership, influencing and mentoring capabilities.
* Well organised, analytical, efficient in time management and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Detailed knowledge of structured problem solving tools and techniques
* Strong understanding of the Data Protection Act (1998) is ideal; plus any understanding of FSA regulatory requirements would be beneficial.

Applicants should be CISA, CICA and Prince 2 qualified.
