PROBLEM MANAGER - IT SERVICE MANAGEMENT - INVESTMENT BANKING
Singapore - Contract - 1 year - Potential Conversion to Permanent after successful completion of contract.
The Problem Manager defines and implements the problem management process and per ITIL framework. The Problem Manager is key to manage and perform Root Cause Analysis and post-mortem reviews of all problems and critical incidents, and is responsible for the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the problem management process in the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize and classify the problems per business impact. Validate regulatory, external client and financial impacts. Provide with management summary on critical impacts of problems.
- Conducts root cause analysis and post-mortems for all problems and critical incidents to identify root cause and assign remediation actions. Ensure resolutions are implemented using appropriate supporting control processes.
- Chair problem review and remediation meetings across teams to properly document and report on problems and the root causes. Prioritize and track remediation action to closure.
- Provide support and guidance to other IT support teams when needed to ensure the problem management process is adhered to.
- Review recurring incidents to determine which need to be identified as Problems.
- Ensure high level of data quality for effective trending,
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in an IT related discipline.
- At least 10 years of information technology experience, with at least 3 years' experience in IT Problem Management, preferably enterprise-wide.
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification would be an advantage.
- Robust stakeholder management skills
