Problem Management Analyst

OUR KEY RAIL CLIENT REQUIRE A PROBLEM MANAGEMENT ANALYST TO JOIN THEIR ESTABLISHED PROBLEM MANAGEMENT TEAM ON A CONTRACT BASIS TO CREATE REPORTS, TREND, AND RECOMMEND AREAS FOR INVESTIGATION ACROSS THE COMPANY INFRASTRUCTURE.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Analysis of incident data to identify trends and potential areas for further investigation. Highlight these areas and where required initiate investigations.
- Prioritisation based on business impact and criticality.
- Identify and communicate available workarounds for unresolved problems/known errors to the relevant parties.
- Adhering to set processes, and communicate the status of problems to relevant stakeholders and Senior Management.
- Confirm that existing problems and known errors in systems and services being brought into production are understood and managed in the same way as those arising from operational incidents.
- Develop and produce management information to communicate volumes of high severity incidents, problem trends, results and performance against service levels.

Skills Required

- Previous experience in problem management
- Communication skills will be essential
- Business Intelligence skills
- Crystal Reports experience would also be beneficial
