Pro - Engineer Designer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PRO - ENGINEER DESIGNER to join our client in Marshall, Michigan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Apply technical knowledge in the performance of design activities based on direction provided by Product Engineering.
- The creation, modification and release of Engine valve train components and assemblies drawings, models, and specifications, including stack-up activities and PDM/PLM document release activities.
- The creation and modification of fixture drawings and models for existing components for use in machining, measuring, and testing.

Job Qualifications:

- AS in drafting or related is a minimum requirement, BSET is preferred.
- Detailing, modelling and assembly experience with Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0 or higher.
- Be able to apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5.
- Ability to perform tolerance stack-ups for clearance and interference in Pro/Engineer and in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for application into design work. Especially in grinding, machining casting and stamping.
