Print Production Manager

For our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a

PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER - CUSTOMER DESK, GLOBAL PRINT SERVICES

Duration: 3 months + extension possible

Location: Zurich

Overview of Business Area/Project:

Within Global Print Services the Customer Desk is responsible for all Printing Services on Demand. The Customer Desk consists of 3 divisions: Request Management, Procurement Printed Matters and layout services. The Request Management is placed as a single point of contact for our internal customers and takes over the Print Production Management for all contracts, which are handled with internal resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Comprehensive customer consulting in the fields of prepress, printing, finishing, distribution and general production technology and organizational issues
- Print Production management: planning, coordination, management and monitoring
- Request-detection in standard industry contract management system "Print Plus"
- Contact (SPOC) for our internal customers throughout the production process, in particular troubleshooting and quality assurance
- Administrative tasks: Job Accounting in Print Plus and Management Support

Required Skills/Experience:

Essential:

- Completed apprenticeship in the graphic arts industry or comparable education
- Many years of experience in print production management (clerical)
- Good knowledge of the program PrintPlus and MS Office products range
- Flexible and communicative personality
- German language skills: fluent in speaking and writing

Desired:

- Industry-specific developments in the field of production engineering, technology, management and administration
- English language ability: Fluent in spoken and written
