We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health Economics and Outcomes Researcher with an extensive background in quantitative healthcare analysis and outcomes research to join our Statistical and Analytical Services group. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company that is transforming the healthcare industry! In this role, you will take the lead on designing and managing complex studies and projects applying advanced analytics and modeling strategies using Inovalon's extensive research databases to develop new information to inform emerging healthcare models and key decision-makers. In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to be involved in the continuous expansion of our Company's cutting-edge business and product lines and collaborate with a team of top notch researchers with a wide range of experience and expertise.

Location: Bowie, MD

Responsibilities:

*

Design and execution of epidemiological, health economic, and outcomes research; including, but not limited to pharmacoeconomic studies, comparative analytics, performance measurement and assessment, evaluation of disease management initiatives, and research associated with clinical trials;
*

Serve as a leader in defining methodological strategies related to the analysis of all forms of health data;
*

Produce well-reasoned proposals and research reports;
*

Lead the protocol development for HEOR and other quantitative studies;
*

Exhibit strong project management skills, with an ability to work independently on multiple projects with sometimes competing priorities; and
*

Assist the Senior Statistical Research Manager in support of the Senior Director, Data Analytics & Systems with all departmental obligations.

Requirements:

*

Ph.D. in epidemiology, public health, economics or a related field;
*

Strong background in study design, advance statistical analysis, and program evaluation;
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
*

Strong interpersonal skills;
*

Working knowledge of private and public sector reimbursement environment;
*

Significant HEOR experience analyzing large health claims and related databases;
*

Expertise in advanced, multivariate statistical estimation techniques;
*

Expert with standard statistical software packages (preferably SAS);
*

Ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary teams; and
*

At least five years professional experience preferred.
