Job Description

Plan, organise, direct and control resource on one or more projects to ensure satisfactory attainment of project objectives within the contractual, commercial, programme and quality requirements of the contract.

Manage the scope, specification time, cost, quality and risks and resource aspects of the project.

Co-Ordinate, integrate and motivate to project team and project participants to ensure successful project execution.

Monitor and review the status of the project, identify issues and develop solutions to fulfil project obligations.

Manage the customer interface to maintain a good working relationship consistent with the Company's interests ensuring that there are no conflicts with the customer's interests.

Establish and maintain open lines of communication with the customers and also with senior management teams.

Operate within the BAE established policies and procedures.

Gain a clear understanding of and apply the Quality and Safety, Health & Environment Management Systems documentation.

Liaison with CS Design Team leaders/Members, Technical Authorities, MOD Customers, Shipbuilder & Suppliers where applicable in order to achieve project milestones.

Liaison with the design team to ascertain progress and subsequent update to MS Project Plans.

Scheduling of regular progress meetings and design reviews where appropriate.

Monitoring of work performed in accordance with work instruction forms.

Liaison with Senior Project Managers/programme Managers where appropriate.

Support with production of Phase Review packs.

Support with production of CS Detailed Fit programme Plans.
