Principal Subsea Hardware Engineer

Petrofac Engineering Services is looking to recruit a Subsea Hardware Engineer for the generation of subsea hardware solutions for feasibility studies, conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design and installation support.

For this role we are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
*Extensive subsea experience with a substantial subsea hardware design experience.
*Engineering Degree qualified preferably with a Masters
*Experience in design of subsea manifolds, templates, PLEMs, PLETs, UTA, flow-bases, protective structures, clamps, diver and ROV intervention facilities.
*Some experience preferred but not essential in subsea Xmas tree systems, subsea connection systems, SSIVs, Valves and controls system structures.
*Experience from design consultant companies, equipment supplier or installation contractor
*Proficient in writing and checking of design reports and calculation sheets
*Competent in mechanical design, especially in a subsea environment
*Knowledge of subsea manifold equipment (Manifold instruments, SCM, MPFM, etc.) preferred
*Competent in use of relevant codes and software
*Knowledge of materials and corrosion control
*Project engineering experience
*Experience in bid preparation
