Principal Manager

Urgent requirement for a Principal Manager with strong background in infrastructure delivery programs in a PMO environment.

This role's primary purpose is to develop, implement and maintain systems and standards for project management including risk management frameworks, estimating, scheduling, records management, ERP and application support for projects during their planning, development and delivery to promote consistent and successful Project Management Methodology practice across projects.

The position is and urgent requirement with a start date within 3 weeks.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Extensive experience developing and implementing program and project management methodologies, for large, complex program/projects over the full life cycle, preferably within A PMO IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE OR ASSET FIELD.
- Proven record of achievement through setting direction, motivating, coaching staff and promoting teamwork, to deliver business outcomes.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving skills and experience in applying these to project management.
- Ability to build a culture of excellence in project management throughout the organisation and related service delivery agencies.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven capacity for successful negotiation, consultation and stakeholder management at a senior level.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, Business Administration a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
