World-class Principal Java Developer required for global financial services firm based in The City.

The successful Principal Java Developer will be a keen technologist with strong experience of designing, developing and delivering high performance, mission critical applications, ideally in the financial sector. The Principal Java Developer will have a proven track record of delivering technically challenging solutions in a clean, elegant and maintainable fashion.

The Prinicpal Java Developer will be working within this organisation's wealth management arm, forming part of a highly Agile, continuous delivery-focussed team tasked with overhauling an existing funding and forecasting platform designed to support a high performance cash management platform. The Principal Java Developer will also act as a Technical Lead within the team, with a view to maintaining code coverage, code quality and defining design strategy for the rest of the team.
