Principal Application Developer: Java/.Net

An exciting new Principal Application Developer role has just been created within a top tier global asset management firm. Working for a global company whose clients include top International Organizations, Pension Funds, and Foundations, this is a great advancement opportunity within a growing firm. The Principal Application Developer will be working within a very senior level Software Development team in Boston to engineer solutions to the investment management business. In addition to working within a highly-interactive team, this opportunity is a highly visible role within the company where you will gain exposure to the business side of the asset management firm. The Principal Application Developer role will be using their software engineering background, preferably in Java and .Net. You will heavily be using Java technology and gradually evolving to use .Net technology and develop .Net solutions within the team. Key Requirements Include: - BS or MS in a Computer Science or Related Degree - At least 6 years of hands on Java experience - Preferred to have .Net experience or exposure to .Net experience - Ability to communicate well and work within an Agile team environment
