Located east of central Manchester in secure grounds and a new state of the art facility, my Client School is an exciting place to teach pupils in a friendly and modern environment. The Head teacher has created a fantastic atmosphere in School and the staff are welcoming and supportive towards one another.

The successful applicant will take control of a mixed Year 3/4 class, with 30 pupils of varying levels of ability. You will have the full support of a higher level teaching assistant and excellent resources at your disposal. The School uses a thematic curriculum and the Head teacher promotes a responsive teaching style to bring the best out of pupils.

This is an exciting opportunity, initially on a contract basis until July with a permanent position available from September. The Head teacher is looking for an experienced and confident Primary teacher, who has the ability to inspire pupils and help them achieve the expectations in Literacy and Mathematics. The School is in an excellent location, just 15 minutes drive from central Manchester and easily accessible via public transport. You will join a friendly group of teaching and support staff, who work tirelessly to ensure pupils are given the best learning opportunities.

After the last Ofsted report noted the need for improvement through key stage 2, the School has set clear objectives to target the areas of improvement. If you are a qualified Primary teacher who specialises in Literacy or Numeracy, this role could be ideal for your development and the opportunity to become a lead teacher/hold responsibility is genuine and achievable.
