My client is a large Retail Bank based in the East Midlands looking for a Pricing & Sales Analyst to support the Pricing and Sales Managers in the delivery of expert pricing, analysis and performance reporting. This role provides Business Partner support and as a Governance & Control champion, will promote the control agenda for the Global Payments Acceptance (GPA) Finance Sales & Pricing team in support of the overall GPA Governance & control strategy.

As a Pricing & Sales Analyst you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the pricing manager in the delivery of expert pricings for strategic customers using a bespoke pricing model within a 3 day SLA. Making sure models are accurate & providing commentary on pricing.
- Support offshore team in organising timely Pricing Committee details
- Support periodical updates of the UPM - universal pricing model and other pricing/review tools. Understand business costs & the impact they have in the pricing model.
- Support the business in preparation of optimal pricing proposals by providing targeted training sessions to the sales teams as well as any new starters within own team on processes, tools and roles & responsibilities involved in large customer pricings.
- Support business & Sales Managers in preparing pricing responses for tenders & cost analysis for large corporate accounts.
- Day to day management of the Post implementation review process & analysis of pricing/committee stats highlighting key reasons for variances
- Support offshore when necessary in the month end BAU Sales performance reporting process to support management decision making.
- Responsible for maintaining & updating all pricing related process maps & documentation
- Review of risks & controls, development/maintenance of a control framework, particularly with regard to pricing.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

FINANCIAL INDUSTRY/BANKING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

- Experience of financial modelling/analysis
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong modelling and analytical skills
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Organisational skills
- Teamwork
- Experience of pricing analytics
- Card Industry knowledge, especially acquiring aspects would be beneficial
- Part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or similar qualification
