Our client is one of the worlds leading telecoms companys, which delivers innovative products and services to customers in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the United States. This role is to support our clients Cloud & Hosting business - our client is a leading provider of dedicated, virtualised and multi-tenant cloud platforms - Clients Cloudfrom design and build to management and operation. Our client helps CIOs and IT departments reduce costs, focus their resources and drive business strategy. In this role you will be responsible for the pricing of all Products and ensuring that our clients standard pricing frameworks are commercially competitive, understood by Account and Commercial teams and Finance and that appropriate strategic challenge is placed to refine its cost base to maintain a competitive market position. Our client is looking to fill the position of Pricing Manager.

Your key tasks:
- Support for bids & renewals working with Sales, Commercial and finance functions to provide pricing for Cloud and Hosting services that is appropriate for our cost base, market demands and specific customer opportunities.
- Development/review of strategy, polices, procedure, processes and governance for the pricing of the services and products for German Operations. Ensure products have a price validation process and governance to avoid incorrect implementation of pricing and governance
- Management and review of pricing related to new products working with product management teams as well as active monitoring of market, internal and 3rd party costs to propose any product-level price changes that are necessary given cost base change or market changes, and provide clear guidance on requirements to the rest of the business (e.g. Billing)
- Provide training material, training & user support for pricing tools, ensure tools are kept up to date and contain a relevant and consistent level of cost information and work with the Pricing Tool Developer as appropriate to ensure all pricing tools are fit for purpose
- Active monitoring of customer proposals, win/loss information to ensure best possible pricing, adjust as necessary and adjust, innovate pricing approaches

Your profile:
- Degree or postgraduate business qualification
- Programme Management Experience
- Experience of working with Sales teams using formal Sales Methodology Practices
- Understand strategic planning process
- Ability to define, implement and maintain a strategic pricing strategy for a Global solution
- Ability to build working relationships with teams that may have conflicting objectives
- Work within a complex matrix organisation
- The experience of presenting to C level members of the team
- Experience of building strategic global pricing plans for cloud & hosting products and solutions across a wide geographical region
- Experience of working with a centralised product management team to ensuring that the correct pricing strategy is agreed. The approach has to meet the business and market needs
- Proven track record of working with centralised and regional account teams to ensure our pricing is correctly positioned to win business at the required margin
- The experience of presenting to C level members of the team
- Native German with Business English skills
