Preclinical Research Scientist - Arthritides (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Required input is centered on data from acute- and chronic-toxicity studies in monkey treated with an experimental monoclonal antibody
-Specifically, treatment-induced adverse events (joint inflammation) in various joints (note: this is not an intended anti-rheumatic therapeutic)
-Ideally translational assessment of findings; input on possible immunologic/pathologic mechanism and hypothesis development
-No clinical data will be available for evaluation

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Solid background in pre-clinical evaluation of animal studies (specifically pharmacology/toxicology in the monkey)
-Direct experience in or a good translational view into the clinical setting, in particular related to presentation and development of joint inflammation (various arthritides)
-Experience with macro/microscopic presentation and progression of joint inflammation in animal and human (High-resolution images of affected joint histo-pathology may be available for review, together with serum-marker inflammatory panel)
