Powerbuilder Developer

Our direct client has an opening for a PowerBuilder Developer role in Austin, TX. This is a contract role, with extensions being highly likely to go as long as 8/31/2018. No third party candidates considered for this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5 years of experience developing code using PowerBuilder.
- 5 years of experience analysing and resolving issues in a support environment.
- 5 years of experience diagnosing and recommending code improvements.
- Experience with enterprise projects.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
- Develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis.
- Participate and lead critical projects, customer engagements or business processes.
- Provide design and documentation at an application or function capability level.
- Participate in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes.
- Communicate application and technical direction to the business.
- Advise on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and multiple platforms.
