My client based in the East Midlands is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join on an initial 6 month contract, with view to extend. You will be working on the adaptation and refurbishment of power systems within the Rail industry.
This role requires experience working with high power systems, as you will be working on power supplies between 500kW - 1MW on a regular basis. It is preferable to have direct experience within the Rail industry, preferably working on traction systems.
The successful candidate will have the following:
-Power electronic design
-DC/AC design experience
-Rail & Traction experience
-500kW-1MW power range
