Power Electronics Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Power Electronics engineer to work for a client of mine based in Hampshire. Very competitive Salary and this can be disclosed upon application.

You will be working for an organization who are world leaders within their domain. Their portfolio of products are partly mechanical and often contain; motor drive components, an induction heating stage, a water quenching or cooling stage and an overall control system. The power supplies range from 5kW to over 2MW and operate at frequencies from 50 Hz to 800 kHz. All their products are designed, manufactured and tested at their site in Hampshire and then delivered to customers around the world.

Your primary role will be to :
* Design, develop, test and install new power supply solutions.
* Integrate power supplies with process control systems.
* Work with other engineers to achieve solutions to technically challenging requirements.

To be considered for the role you should have a good knowledge and experience of:
* Knowledge of at least one of:
* DC/AC converters;
* AC/AC converters;
* DC/AC inverters.

* Knowledge of single and three phase power circuitry.

In a nutshell my client is seeking someone who has experience in the actual design and development of drives. You should have experience in designing and devloping to 1000amps+ and 50KW+.
