My client in Reading is currently recruiting for a PostgresSQL DBA Analyst for an initial 3 - 6 month contract. I am specifically looking for an extremely professional candidate with extensive database design experience, extensive knowledge of Linux and Unix systems and will also require experience in developing tools to provide various types of support to import/export data to and from third party data suppliers.

The ideal candidate will be expected to develop, design and also implement database schema to support the organisations system. This will consist of collecting, managing and storing various product requirements.

The ideal candidate must have the following
Solid knowledge of PostgresSQL database schema design.
Ability to write clear and efficient SQL
Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix including Bash Scripting.
Knowledge of Python and Git would be an advantage
Agile software development practices
