Looking for POS developer for a 12 months project in MADRID, SPAIN for one of our esteemed client.
TITLE: POS DEVELOPER
DURATION: 12 MONTHS CONTRACT
LOCATION: MADRID, SPAIN
AS POS DEVELOPER YOU WILL HAVE/WILL BE/WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
POS Developers with experience on IBM 4690.
Understand and document all modifications and existing iSeries interfaces to base 4690 application.
Work with POS team to modify existing interfaces between 4690 and iSeries to extend to SAP.
Create additional interfaces for trickle feeding sales to SAP.
Create, execute and document full test plan ensuring accurate data flow from POS to SAP.
Implement fully integrated local Spanish payment EFT gateway from 4690 to acquiring bank.
Include full documentation and test plan.
Implement Storegazer for ongoing POS monitoring and maintenance including functionality to send end of day completed messages, alerts and automated re-starting of background tasks.
Configure, Install and fully test all hardware: controllers, registers, printers and scanners
Design controllers to operate without WAN connectivity and still trade.
Explore POS fuel options and integration to SA & payment gateway.
Plan migration from SA to ACE
Plan migration from existing integration: SA - iSeries - SAP to planned: ACE - MQ - SAP
