Portfoliomanager

For an international operating utility, based in the Bavaria I am currently looking for a senior portfoliomanager from the energy branch with deep knowledge in the gas or power sector.

The company consists of a solid risk capital structure as well as an interesting portfolio combining a great range of cross commodity products as well as an own gas storage and other asset capacities. As the company is about to centralise it's trading activities and subsidiaries from three others countries within one trading company, there will be a lot of chances to develop yourself within a highly innovative and fast growing company.

Key responsibilities:
* actively develop portfolio planning & optimisation long and medium-term and dynamic hedging activities to exploit market opportunities and enhance portfolio returns
* support in the pricing and shaping of forward curves initiate execution of standard and structured trades in the market via Supply & Trading departments

Qualifications:
* about 3-5 years experience in Portfolio Management Gas or Power
* good Modelisation and simulation know how
* good understanding of macroeconomics and the market drivers with impact on gas/commodities markets
* fluent in English, German or French
* good team spirit and strong interpersonal skills, team player
* capable of working with rigour and precision and able to meet deadlines and priorities
* ability to work in multifunctional and multinational teams
* flexibility and availability, willingness to relocate
