An exciting opportunity to lead the Portfolio Risk Analytics, Impairment Forecasting & Stress Testing Team within an established banking organisation.

Key accountabilities
*Provide leadership to a team of technical analysts, including mentoring, technical guidance including building a culture of personal development, coaching and strive to take learning's from the team to the wider Portfolio Risk Analytics function and beyond.
*Ensure the impairment, provisioning, sensitivity and stress testing model suite are fit for purpose including scoping, design, development, validation, implementation of models.
*Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including, Exec, business, Divisional Risk, Risk and Finance functions.
*Help steer the business in the preparation of business cases and resource plans for individual model developments.
*Oversee project management of individual model development projects and ensure all models are built on track and on budget, as well as managing the activities of teams working on such developments, to ensure that high quality models are delivered on time that meet business requirements and can be implemented.
*Support the stakeholder communication process throughout the end-to-end model life cycle, clearly identifying where additional stakeholders need involvement and ensure that all affected colleagues (inside and outside Risk, the business, IT, etc) are aware of the model development work and its impact and requirements.
