RESPONSIBILITIES
- Portfolio oversight, scheduling and reporting:- - Provision of portfolio performance MI to key stakeholder groups and attending board level meetings as required.
- Facilitate the identification and management of project dependencies within the portfolio
- Support the management of the portfolio delivery schedule to optimise successful delivery of benefits, to time, cost and quality.
- Process management
- Standards to enable best practice project delivery across the portfolio.
- To lead and manage the annual project AOP and rolling project stack processes which define the portfolio and ensure alignment to business strategy.
- To assist the project governance submissions process to gain project start, close and change authorisation.
- Resource management and prioritisation
- To champion and evolve a resource planning and prioritisation model for the change portfolio across the business.
- To work with business resource owners to ensure that the change portfolio is appropriately resourced to support delivery in line with agreed priorities managing conflicts and escalations as need be.
- To chair the Prioritisationable to multi-task and work independently. Professional and team oriented - ability to motivate others.
- Assertive; able to effectively communicate/negotiate with all management levels and peers.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in the use of project planning tools, MS Office and database software applications.
- Strategic thinker with ability to understand the needs of differing business units.
