Provide guidance on Capital Management Committee process

- Post CMC meeting communications and follow up activities
- Assist project preparations and follow up to ensure they are on agenda for CMC
- Initiate and complete put and take for newly approved CMC projects
- Provide guidance to directors/managers/pms on portfolio related questions/issues
- Work with teams on new demand coming from business to determine next steps
- Maintaining accurate headcount for Demand/capacity planning
- Support directors/managers/project managers on new initiative being rolled out by EPSO, Clarity team, PMO or QA
- Attend IS Liaison Meeting and communicate info to teams as needed
- Confirm or suggest source of funding when SOWs are rejected due to insufficient funding in Clarity
- Understand the IT project portfolios:

o Project/program Classification (eg, regulatory, strategic, discretionary, business-as-usual)
o Risks and dependencies
o Investment timeline
- Analyze portfolio objectives with regards to:

Milestones and benefits, including alignment with business and IT strategic goals
o Investments required (time, resources, budget)
o Resource and timing dependencies
- Work with IT VPs to rationalize their respective portfolio
- Recommend changes to portfolios based on objectives
- Understand current portfolio management practices

o Understand existing activities
o Understand reasons for which some activities are not being performed consistently
- Understand current usage of Clarity to support Portfolio Management activities

o Scenario analysis
o Reporting (regular and ad-hoc)
o Governance and decision-making
- Work with IT VPs to identify and prioritize portfolio management process gaps

Position Summary
'Oversee the technical application design, construction, implementation and deployment for assigned accounts and projects. Provide project management for multiple and/or large IT projects. Act as interface between business and technical teams including IT Architecture, data resource management, IT Quality Assurance (ITQA), technology infrastructure and operations, and business leadership, business stakeholders/change agents and business PMO; monitor and provide status of portfolio of projects and perform project methodology compliance audits. Provide input to technology strategy plans. '

Duties
Project Management: Ensure timely and effective delivery of IT solutions into production. Confirm scope, develop and oversee project plans and implement scope change control procedures. Monitor progress, manage issues, mitigate risk. Interact with customers at the technical level, as required.
Application Development Management: Provide technical direction on systems analysis, design, development, testing and deployment by collaborating with business analysts, developers, architecture, DRM, quality assurance, production support, and account teams (business).
Quality Assurance: Facilitate code reviews, software design sessions, and architectural reviews. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required.
Transition: Ensure effective hand-off to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
Reusability and Efficiency: Ensure an increase level of code reuse, and contribute to the growth and use of the knowledge library.
Team Development: Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment.

Experience
Minimum of 9+ years demonstrated experience and expertise in: Business Strategy Definition/Business Process Mapping; IT Consulting/Business Strategy Consulting or similar corporate role; IT Development (full SDLC); IT Project Planning, Definition and Management; IT Business Requirements Definition using structured methodologies and toolsets. Experience with Business Strategy/IT Consulting Background. Trained and experienced in structured methodologies and tools using business analysis and decomposition techniques. Project Management and Leadership roles with planning, status reporting, issue management, risk mitigation and scope control documentation. Use of SDLC methodologies and supporting toolsets and in-depth understanding of development environments is required. CMMI experience preferred. PMI certification is preferred. Experience in a professional services environment exhibiting proven client management, relationship development, analytical and problem solving skills, and end-to-end experience with software development methodologies is strongly desired. Demonstrable experience managing to the big picture and determine how the project fits into it - in order to define and manage scope. Very strong written and oral communication skills. Must be results oriented with strong customer focus and proven leadership skills.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained. MBA or Master of Computer Science - preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required.
