PORTFOLIO DIRECTOR, BUSINESS CHANGE DIRECTOR, COMMISSIONING, PRINCE2, CONTRACT, MANCHESTER

Due to work load my client is seeking a highly experienced Portfolio director/Business change director for an initial 6 month contract to be based from their offices in Manchester.

My client is seeking an experienced Portfolio Director to lead and manage their complex portfolio of transformational change, including large scale cost reduction programmes, IT infrastructure and enabling programmes, changes to operational policing models and culture and behaviour change.

To be considered for this role will need substantial executive experience and an impressive record of shaping, commissioning and delivering large-scale, multi-disciplined portfolios of change, aligned to the successful business outcomes and strategic objectives.

You will need to have a solid track record of defining, commissioning and delivery of (programme and projects) that delivers the strategic, operational and budgetary goals of an organisation.
As a senior management board member you will have substantial experience of being responsible for the portfolio strategy and providing clear leadership and direction through its life.

My client will require evidence of your skills, knowledge and experience in the following fields;

Experience of defining the scope and roadmap of programmes and projects to deliver the Strategic objectives of a large and complex organisation.

Experience of commissioning a range of programmes and projects to meet the requirements of a large scale transformation portfolio.

An understanding of the public sector environment and applicable rules and standards governing transformational programme/project management, procurement and finance.

You will hold appropriate change management qualifications for example; Management of Portfolio, Management of Successful Programmes, Prince 2 etc.
