PORTFOLIO ACCOUNTANT
Contract role
Location: Zurich
Start date: Immediately
Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a PORTFOLIO ACCOUNTANT to join one of their clients in Zurich, a globally renowned organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start ASAP who can speak fluent English and German.
We offer:
- An interesting challenge due to a project within asset management within the operations area
- International and multicultural environment in a dynamic investment accounting team within the operational mid-office in Zurich
- Responsibility for reconciliation of daily cash and security positions as well as derivatives and FX for managed funds and mandates
- Investigation and troubleshooting of reconciliation breaks with internal and external parties such as other operations teams, portfolio managers and custodians worldwide.
- Investigations and resolution of breaks related to corporate actions transactions
- Other Middle Office tasks to serve our portfolio managers
- Point of contact for internal and external inquiries in relation to operational service excellence
Skills required:
- Apprenticeship in banking or in other commercial area
- At least 5 years of experience in the area of investment accounting, global custody business and/or operations area
- Experience in securities administrations, great flair of numbers, good knowledge of MS Office products
- Distinct team-spirit and ability to work to solve problems
- Independent, accurate and structured working method
- Fluent in German and English
