Core Duties
Responsible for understanding and managing the policy implementation plan in the franchise.
Responsible for working with cross franchise colleagues implementing same policy elsewhere.
Responsible for implementation and impact reviews on priority policies as identified by CIB/CTP and work with the GPSO to ensure good engagement.
Accountable for establishing and maintain strong working relationships with Front Office Business Managers to ensure effective feedback and understanding of policy requirements and escalating any issues early.
Responsible for adhering to the centralised Front Office policy operating model.
Responsible for coordination of policy requirements and feedback to policy owners as part of the defined governance processes.
Requires ability to understand the construction of controls required by Policy and responsible for implementation and challenging these controls.
Working with existing Front Office controls colleagues, responsible for acting as a Policy simplification point for non Front Office areas.
Responsible for MI Production for committee meetings and for Senior Management.
Responsible for Leading policy and control workshops.
Required Skills
Excellent stakeholder management experience to a Board Level
Experience Implementing Policies eg Regulatory & Control knowledge
Extensive Banking experience Required
