Projektbeschreibung

My client is a highly dynamic and globally successful financial services organisation. They currently have an opportunity for a Policies, Affiliate & Vendor Control Associate to join their team in Glasgow on a temporary basis

The role:
Assist the Operations Division in meeting key legal document requirements:
Analyse and determine appropriate legal documentation requirements based upon location, legal entity relationship and scenario.
Provide guidance to the Operations (Ops) divisional area's concerning the legal documentation requirements and drafting of Ops: TO (Task Order)/SOW (Statement of Work) and WSP (Written Supervisory Procedure)/SCD (supervisory Control Documents).
Perform reviews of Operations drafted documentation, providing feedback where appropriate on identified findings with both Business Units and Legal, where required.
Facilitate the annual review process of the legal documentation for all Operations outsourcing
Facilitate interaction between LCD and Operations.
Facilitate the storage of the documentation on Firm systems of the Task Orders (TO)/Statement of Work (SOW) and Written Supervisory Procedures (WSP)/Supervisory Control Documents) (SCD).
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with divisions throughout the organisation, including, Legal, Compliance, Global Workforce Strategy and Solutions and the wider team
Assist the Operations Division in meeting their requirements in creating new policies and procedures and undertaking the review of existing policies and procedures.
Write and edit Operations policies and procedures and process them through an extensive approval process working directly with Subject Matter Experts.
Attaining agreement across members of all four Operations Divisions, Internal Audit, Compliance, Controllers and Senior Management in a timely manner.
Assist business areas in policy interpretation to determine their applicability.
Manage and track exclusions to policies.
Assist in the release of courses on the Firm's training portal

The ideal candidate will have previous experience/knowledge within a Legal or Compliance related environment and/or a Bachelors degree in a related field.
They will be a confident analytical person with excellent oral and written communication skills.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Business writing ability - experience should include creation/editing of policy, procedures and user documentation.
The ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels of the organization to present views and gain consensus amongst them.
Robust analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to communicate technical matters in a concise manner.
The ability to multi-task and grasp new concepts quickly.
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint is essential.
