POLARIS DEVELOPER 2-3 YEARS - INSURANCE/FINANCIAL SERVICES
Applications are invited for Polaris experienced developers in financial services or Insurance (a background as an underwriter will help you with the technicality and the business implications of the systems). This is BAU as in the exiting site is in place and this is covering core development of the product - this is for household.
Polaris engineer 2-3 years (team member this is not a lead role)
14 months contract at most (contract will be written for 12-14 months)
Need to get in and understand the system and do product specification
You will have technical skills in developing and or building Polaris schemes or products. ( Polaris ProductWriter, Use cases, RUP, IBM ReqPro, XML, SQL Server, Excel, XML, RTE, XRTE, VB, Word, .Net. SAX interface using WebSphere MQ/Polaris Product writer, XML, EDI, WebSphere MQ, i-Series IS2000 and general Mainframe technology skills). Some technical exposure to Polaris is fine - this is just the dream list.
You are joining a team that has worked in changing existing systems going through an upgrade internally - there has been huge success in the business with the projects done to date
Polaris application experience and development with said application (doesn't matter what version)
Full Life Cycle Experience is a must
This role is open to both day rate contract working and someone looking for a long term fixed term contract on site in Dublin. Immediate interviews (on phone if you are outside of Ireland) and if you are on a project that is not due to finish for some time call and speak to us anyway as there will be room for you on this even if we have to wait for you to finish the work you are doing. Interviews happing week beginning 26.11.2012 and shortlisting happening now
